Washington County Sheriff Office (WCSO)

Your Sheriff’s Office now offers the Help Me Home program to help us better serve
at risk or endangered residents living in Washington County who are found but have
difficulty communicating vital information such as their name, current address or phone number.
Often these individuals have left the safety of their homes without the knowledge of their caregiver.

Beaverton Police Department/Beaverton Youth Peer Court:

Beaverton Youth Peer Court is a real court for first time juvenile offenders run almost
entirely by youth ages 12-17. Youth attorneys represent and prosecute defendants
at trial and youth jurors decide on a sentence for the defendants.
Court cases may include Theft, Criminal Mischief, Harassment or Minor in Possession
of Marijuana, Alcohol or Tobacco.
Peer Court helps lower the number of cases tried in Juvenile Court, and defendants
gain respect for the law when held accountable for their actions by their
peers.
